Supporting the provision of quality welfare for seafarers and their dependants
One of the services the Board provides to its Constituent members is training courses. These courses are available to candidates from all our Constituent member organisations and where appropriate and space allows, candidates from other organisations within the maritime sector including those members who sit on our Port Welfare Committees.
The Board covers all course administration costs, this includes venue hire where appropriate and all refreshments throughout the duration of the course. The Board will also cover accommodation and/or travel costs for candidates from our Constituent member organisations for certain courses
Please see individual course details for more information.
Potential candidates should obtain permission to attend a course from their parent organisation before applying to the Board. Please click on the links above for more information on individual courses and future dates.
Our mission is to help improve the effectiveness of all those charities caring for merchant seafarers, fishermen and their dependants.
