The latest edition of Welfare Watch is now available. This edition highlights how MNWB and its members continue to strengthen seafarers welfare.
Firstly, we are extending our thoughts to the seafarers and families whose whose lives continue to be deeply affected by the escalating conflict in the Middle East. We stand in solidarity with all those enduring such distressing circumstances.
This month saw the launch of the our revamped Ship Welfare Visitor training platform. We also highlight this year’s MNWB Annual Awards for Services to Seafarers’ Welfare. These awards recognise the exceptional individuals and organisations supporting seafarers and fishers across the UK with HRH The Princess Royal, in attendance to present the awards.
This edition marks the Merchant Navy Pledge. This marks an important milestone in strengthening recognition for those who serve, and have served, at sea.
