London & South East

The London & South East Port Welfare Committee comprises of 27 members from across the area who represent a wide range of maritime agencies and societies involved with seafarers' welfare.

The Committee provides a forum where all those involved in seafarers’ welfare can meet regularly, share information, provide mutual support and generally network. They also provide an opportunity to brief members on wider issues that may affect seafarers and their families visiting or resident around their ports.

The London & South East Port Welfare Committee meets three times per year. Due to the large geographic area covered by this Committee, meetings are held in various locations throughout the year to accommodate all members.

2020 Meetings are as follows:

Tuesday, 11th February - General Meeting, Tilbury Seafarers' Centre

Tuesday, 2nd June - General Meeting, National Maritime Training Centre

Wednesday, 30th September - Annual General Meeting, Port of London Authority
