The Bristol Port Welfare Committee comprises of 19 members who between them represent a wide range of maritime agencies and societies involved with seafarers' welfare.
The Committee provides a forum where all those involved in seafarers’ welfare can meet regularly, share information, provide mutual support and generally network. They also provide an opportunity to brief members on wider issues that may affect seafarers and their families visiting or resident around their ports.
The Bristol Port Welfare Committee meets three times per year. Meetings are held at Bristol International Seafarers Centre in Portbury; Bristol Port Company and Sharpness Docks.
