CEO Peter Tomlin welcomes the Board's newest Trustee

On Wednesday 18th December we welcomed our newest Trustee into the office.

Mark Rawson, Member Relations Representative of the Liberian Shipowners Council, will be representing ship owners and managers as an MNWB Trustee.

Mark went to sea as a deck cadet with Booker Line of Liverpool in 1978 spending 13 years at sea on general cargo ships, container ships, bulk carriers, offshore support and coastal ships. He has a Masters Licence and a BSc in Maritime Studies.

He has 7 years of experience in Marine Insurance as a surveyor and at a P&I Club before joining Zodiac Maritime in 1998.

Initially starting as a safety superintendent Mark was involved in all aspects of HSE and quality assurance becoming the Head of Marine Compliance and Performance in 2015.

He left Zodiac in 2017 and is now a Trustee of the Jubilee Sailing Trust and the Member Relations Representative of the Liberian Shipowners Council.

Our team were delighted to meet him and look forward to working with him in the future.
