SOUTH WEST PORT WELFARE COMMITTEE

The South West Port Welfare Committee (PWC) meets three times per annum. PWC meeting venues alternate between the RNMDSF Fishermen’s Missions at Newlyn and Brixham, Mission to Seafarers Flying Angel Clubs at Fowey and Par, A&P, Falmouth and a location in Plymouth to ensure full coverage of the region. The Committee discusses maritime welfare issues of a national and local nature. PWC comments on grant applications of local interest are documented and passed to the relevant grant-making charity.
