SOUTH WALES REGION WELFARE COMMITTEE

The South Wales Region Port Welfare Committee (PWC) meets three times a year at venues such as the Flying Angel Clubs in Cardiff and Newport, ABP Swansea and Cardiff City Hall. The Committee consider seafarers' welfare issues at a local, national and international level. Topics can range from port welfare facilities in South Wales to the Maritime Labour Convention (MLC) 2006. The committee also considers grant applications to the MNWB and the MCFGs grants programmes with comments and recommendations passed on to the relevant grant making charity.
