SVR has two main residences:  Whitefoord House located on Edinburgh's historic Royal Mile and Rosendael situated in Broughty Ferry, Dundee.  Whitefoord House has 82 fully furnished, en-suite single rooms with extensive social areas including a bowling green,  gym, IT suite, gardens and residents lounge. Rosendael has 45 fully furnished, en-suite rooms with lovely public areas including a conservatory, gardens, snooker room and residents lounges.  Both residences have 24 hour on site warden support and provide a service including all meals and laundry.  A Care at Home service is available for residents requiring personal care.   In addition SVR has 25 affordable rental self-contained flats in Edinburgh and Dundee.

SVR is open to anyone who has served in HM Armed Forces or the Merchant Navy, or their spouses.
