| Objectives / History | There are three funds: The Benevolent Fund - for the assistance and relief by grants, allowances and pensions, of necessitous British Master Mariners and their wives, widows, children and other dependants The Howard Leopold Davis Fund - for the assistance and relief by grants, allowances and pensions, of necessitous certified British Navigating Officers of the Merchant Navy who have not been in permanent command, their wives, widows children and other dependants. The Education Fund of the Honourable Company of Master Mariners - to assist and encourage the education, instruction and training, general, technical and professional, of young men serving and intending to serve in the Merchant Navy. |
