Objectives / History The main object of the Society is to provide homes or housing for the care of aged, infirm or disabled seafarers. Spouses and widows also qualify for admission.

Royal Alfred Seafarers' Society’s home is set amongst 14 acres of Surrey countryside, near Banstead. It provides an extensive range of high quality Care and Sheltered Housing. The home consists of: -

Belvedere House. A new 2 storey Care Home set in large, landscaped gardens, providing 56 single rooms each with en-suite toilet and washbasin. There are ample bath and shower rooms with appropriate aids for those who need them. The rooms are fully furnished, bright and cheerfully decorated. Residents may bring their own items of furniture subject to the Manager's agreement and consideration of space.

Weston Acres House. This is a grade II listed building (1906), substantially renovated in 2000 and now provides 22 well-appointed bed-sitting rooms (together with en-suite shower/toilet, and kitchenette facility). Twelve of these are within the house and a further ten are in an annexe.
