LONDON & SOUTH EAST PORT WELFARE COMMITTEE

London and South East Port Welfare CommitteeThe London & South East Port Welfare Committee (PWC) meets three times per annum. PWC meeting venues usually alternate between Tilbury Seafarers Centre, Mission to Seafarers’ Central Office in London, London Port Authority at Gravesend, Medway Ports, MNWMS Springbok, Queen Victoria Sailors Rest and occasional visits to BISS Dover to cover the area. The Committee discusses maritime welfare issues of a national and local nature. PWC comments on grant applications to the Maritime Charities Funding Group of local interest are documented and passed to the relevant grant-making charity.
