How can we help?

Financial assistance

The Board is permitted to make appeals for funds and is largely supported by income from its investments. It is empowered to make capital grants for projects undertaken by other British-based maritime societies and charities.

It also holds an extensive list of social clubs and societies connected to the Merchant Navy.

The Board does not give financial assistance to individuals but acts as a clearing house, in appropriate circumstances, for those seeking assistance by directing them to one of its constituent nautical charities.
