CENTRAL & WEST OF SCOTLAND PORT WELFARE COMMITTEE
Chairman: Captain Martyn Clark
Vice Chairman: Captain Ron Bailey
The Central & West Scotland Port Welfare Committee (PWC) meets three times per annum. Whenever possible meeting locations alternate between Grangemouth (BISS Seafarers Centre), Clyde area and Eyemouth (RNMDSF Fishermen’s Mission) to ensure coverage of the entire region. The Committee discusses maritime welfare issues of a national and local nature. PWC comments on grant applications of local interest are documented and passed to the relevant grant-making charity.
